It Rained Today, Drought Over
by Jack Hackett and Katarina Brandt
SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA–Residents all over Southern California looked outside and witnessed water falling from the sky.
“What is that?” exclaimed a confused student.
“Is it going to be like this forever?” asked LA local, Ellen Labbe.
Scientists concluded that one of California’s most severe droughts ever recorded, has finally come to an end.
The sudden torrential downpour this afternoon lead Chief Rain Expert, Melvin Doyle, to say, “It rained like half an inch. I think we’re good.”
California residents have been informed that they may resume taking showers and watering their lawns.
Many also said that they hope it doesn’t rain again anytime soon.
In other news, it was also below 70 degrees, so the Environmental Protection Agency is considering the possibility that climate change is, in fact, a myth.
