School of Dramatic Arts Announces Performative Activism Class

Against the backdrop of rampant inequality and rising social tensions, The School of Dramatic Arts announced a new class Wednesday, THTR 300: Performance for Activism. According to SDA Dean Emily Roxworthy, the class will “prepare students for the realities of fame” through its robust curriculum of pastel infographics and weepy vertical videos. Roxworthy also recommended THTR 301: The Art of the Apology, where students will become the most authentic version of themselves through extensive coaching, and will learn how to leverage their humility for profit and personal gain.
