LOS ANGELES, CA — Things went south this Mother’s Day for local girl Emily Moore when she, after seeing Timothee Chalamet on the Netflix ad, watched Lady Bird for the first time with her mother today. “I was sobbing the entire time…she just sat next to me quietly.” At the end of the film, after Ms. Moore took away her bowl of popcorn because “she could stand to lose a few pounds,” Emily curled up into a fetal position while Ms. Moore expressed that she was glad they would never relate to the film.
